Skirts
There was a wide range of fashion for girls. They went from short, tight, pencil skirts to long, poofy, poodle skirts. Girls would wear tall boots with a heal. They would most likely wear them with short, thigh length pencil skirts. They would also wear a closed toe, 2 inch heel with a mid thigh dress or skirt. Shown at the left is a mid thigh length dress. These were normally worn with a belt. The belt would add affect to the out fit and it would fit very well with the dress. They would also wear a jacket to complete the out fit.
Peace signs
Peace sings were a popular pattern because of the hippie peace for all era. These signs are also seen now just not as much. In the 1960's they were used for a sign to show that there should be peace on earth and no war. The people you would find wearing these patterns are the people that are protesting. Now when you see peace signs you don't exactly think of peace on earth, you more think of it as just another pattern. In the 1960's they were a sign of peace. People used the symbol as a print on their shirt or pants. They wore it pretty much anywhere on their clothing.
